Nice!
Another pattern I’ve been playing with.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Excellent work! You've been on a roll at the vice lately. Not so much for me. The only pattern I tied of recent is one made of dog fur. My son has a nine-month old golden doodle and he brought me a bag of underfur and told me to make a stonefly pattern with it.  I went small and made a size 12 "Doodle Stone." No limit on what you can use, makes it fun.

I’ve been sticking around home while my Bride recovers. She’s doing great and I’m sort of in between everything. So time on the bench is therapy for me.spent a lot of time organizing and sorting through the 30+ year accumulation of tying materials. Always feels good to me to get things in order.

Contemplating  a new Vise. Found one that I really like. I mean…not that I “need” one. But when it comes to fishing, “need” has nothing to do with it.

Making some sense of all the dubbing. Saw something similar to this somewhere online I think.

6 compartment bead storage containers. $1.49 each at Hobby Lobby.

Eliminated a whole pile of miscellaneous boxes.

I’ll be searching for another 10 or so of these boxes.

As a loyal Hoosier and hoops fan, an annual affair for me is to tie hair jigs
while watching my brackets implode.  This year none of my picks made
the "Elite 8" but I have, so far, turned out about 6 dozen baits. The sizes
run from 1/4  to 1/64th oz.  Tuer sur la route squirrel tails and a few dyed
kips provide the fiber and I raid the local CVS for nail polish to color
the lead or tin jig heads. (It's fair to say that my collection of nail polish
colors is far more extensive than my wife's. If I'm missing a shade, the
first place I look is on her dresser.) Toss in a little tinsel from the ol'
Tannenbaum and I'm good to go.  Most of them ain't purty. I save the
nice ones to give away, but purty or no they all catch fish...

fish on,

rivereddy
