Awesome picture.  Love how it ate the crank too.   I love it when I hear people tell me carp and catfish are just bottom feeders.  Bottom feeders my butt!

I've caught a handful of carp on cranks... it is always the last thing you are expecting to see.  "Is it a giant walleye" had to be racing through your mind haha.

I was shaking the whole time. It didn't even fight like a carp, just tried to hug the bottom, no big runs or anything.

Very cool, I have caught them on flies, jigs, cranks, live minnows and everything I ever used for bait
Yep and the fight is classic

Probably about 10 minutes. it felt like an hour until i saw it was a carp. couldn't get it to come off the bottom, and was trying to pull up the motor and fishing buddy in case it decided to dive under the boat. I probably looked like a clown in that little boat. The boat ended up going to the fish instead of the fish to the boat.
