Turner res/ central pond east providence
« on: Apr 10, 2013, 04:42 PM »
Hit central pond north of the Newman ave bridge today and caught 2 Larry's biggest was only 2 pounds but a nice day out all and all. We've been hitting the James turner reservoir side but haven't been able to pull anything up yet this year. Anyone have any luck or stories from either place?

I took some casts in Slater Park over the weekend, nothing to show for. Just a couple short strikes.

Hey there,

There are MANY fish over 5lbs in this body of water. My personal best was 6.3lbs but I have also seen a 7 and a 8lber caught and released. My best day was the day with the 6.3lber as my 5 largest fish totaled over 22 lbs. (6.3, 5.2, 4.2, 3.10, and 3.7) Big jigs are key.
