I feel  color plays a part , but I'm into size and presentation first then color

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

you are right, must be the right size for that fish at that time, same for presentation,
i use the same presentation and if that doesnot work i change till i find what works
like the pickerel i was getting this year wanted large[#5 blades] with a black body
along the shore line, but most times they[pickerel in that pond] wanted red/white
with a different size blade

I think your all right .....  I  don't think ( opinion)  that anyone thing  is more important then the other  "most times". I have  seen  steelhead  switch  color   from   wanting  pink to wanting  nothing  but chartreuse..... I have  seen  browns  switch  from  wanting a  size  14 blue wing olive  to only wanting a  size  18 and  I have  seen  crappies  want  to  hit a  free falling  jig and  10 minutes  later only  touch a  jig fished  slow under a  bobber.... sometimes  it's  mimicking  the food  supply  and others it's just  finding what  triggers them (never seen a nitro glo demon   in nature)  but  fish love  them ....and theres  not many spikes    that like to  go swimming in  feb  in nature ......I think it all works  together which I think is what fred is  saying  anyways   ;D

SIZE MATTERS!!! :w00t:

“Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.”
