Set out for some crappie and walleye ended up getting beat up by the wind in my John boat got one crappie half dozen small mouth and one big carp on a crappie jig and 6 pound test it spooled me on the first run chased it down with the trolling motor and over an hour later got him off the bottom and into the barely big enough net

Got out for a night mission last night. Slow burn, not much cooperation from our whiskered friends, but found a couple. The small cat is 3.9, the larger is 7.96. First cats of the year, I sure missed that rod bend! Tight lines!
