Walleye tournaments
« on: Jun 20, 2021, 06:33 PM »
So how many fish the walleye tournaments around the state? Looks like the stamped is the only one left in the state that does a few tournaments each year. Looks like biysen this next weekend good luck out there might see some as I go out for some fishing fun not tournament stress.

I fish most years, the Stampede. The Northeast Walleye Association does two tournaments a  year on Keyhole. One in May and October.

Looks like the stamped has had some good turn out this year over a hundred boats at boysen this last weekend. My fishing usually stops around September when hunting season starts but know I miss some good fishing. Would like to fish a tournament one of these days just need to be better at catching in all weather. Wish there was a walleye tournament on ocean lake around here I think that one would be fun.

I fish tourneys here and there in NY...
Its alot of fun and forces you to think outside the box... ive learned more in one tourney than ive learned in an entire season.....
I won a few and usually am in the top 20 of the events i get into....
