6 Deer in the front yard at sundown chewing on our Holly bushes, Burning bushes and Rhododendrons.
Its a bit early with only 6 inches of snow on the ground.

funny you say that, the elk are doing the same up here in northern saskatchewan. usually don't see that until much later on in the new year.

I have some arbovitae that they hit this time of year…actually my whole yard is a deer browse haven (lots of tender buds/tips)
They are especially hungry this year because of the lack of mast. With this snow crust the yotes might have a fiesta…😢

arbovitae are deer candy.
We had about a dozen of them, only 2 survived
