Your Team...Your Predictions

Ok, so now I only want to hear about your team. The Boys you cheer for and what your honest predictions are for their season. Maybe there surprises and shortfalls

Team: Toronto Maple Leafs

Finish: 6th-8th Place. Probably a lot closer to 8th. (But we will be in the dance)

Surprise: The Return of Eric Lindros...he has been writen off by many as heartless and injury prone. I think he will be healthy and he has somthing to prove. He will be a big part of this team

Shortfall: I can see a lot of small Injuries going forward nothing major but a few games here or there. I also look at Eddie Belfour who seems to be a lot slower then usual. Could be an issue

Team: Buffalo Sabres

Finish: 8th place (perhaps a bit optimistic, but......)

Surprise: Darcy Regier makes a real move at the deadline this year - not another Bob Corkum

Shortfall: A lack of star power leads to a so-so record and ho-hum ticket sales, preventing some real cash to sign next year's batch of free agents.

TEAM: New York Islanders

FINISH: 1st playoff round

ill direct the last to twards the NHL in general

SURPRISE: after last years b.s. ....nothing surpises me anymore

SHORTFALL: Shoot outs vs ties........really not a fan. ties might be a boring end to the game, but that 1 point at the end of the season really can make things exciting imho

Thanx..for bringing my prediction to the fore front again....as if I dont have enuff pain watching my team dwindle in 11th place....So It looks like I wrong about there placement and I was wrong about Big E he had been hurt all season...But I was right about Eddie...the guy was super slow this season and posted his worst numbers since his rookie season....

Chucker:  Your perdiction was off as well...but in a good way..your team is putting up some fine numbers


 Perch Inc... Sorry but there is no way the Rangers are getting to the Finals..way to many better teams to go thru....Ottawa and Carolina for sure....As of right now I wouldnt guarantee you made it out of the first round...it would be a killer series btween  NY and NJ

Yup and i cant wait till we hoist up that cup.  we cant lose with jagr and lundqvist. Rangers always dominate in the playoffs!!
