Lake Ontario April 2018
« on: Apr 29, 2018, 11:15 AM »

I just returned from my yearly trip to Fair Haven, NY. Tuesday and Wednesday the fishing was good. Thursday we got blown off. Friday, the fishing was terrific. Mostly browns with the occasional steehead, lake trout, coho salmon or atlantic salmon thrown in. Sadly, nothing broke the 10# mark. All shallow water trolling off the planer boards.

Nice looking fish, well done!

When you say they were shallow, how shallow are you talking?

Awesome work!  Ill be out there in May.  Will we were targeting them in no more than 15 fow most days.  Fun fishing planner boards and stickbaits and a couple spoons on  riggers.

Nice job Mike east or west I always found east better right at moon beach ;) although heading towards red Creek always proved to be productive
