That is a great story. I went to college with his nephew. They have a northern zone hunting camp not far from here.

Middle son was home for Thanksgiving....got into some ducks........the deer gave him the slip!!!!

Well in stand for the last morning I can hunt, have to work rest of week all in all a good season ,no monsters but plenty of deer in are group,hope all did well and hope everyone has a good and safe ice season !!!

I'm done with the deer for this year , saw over 150 deer and killed 2 nice bucks. Can't wait for ice now!

well , hung one more up to end season ,probably corn and can most of this one and guns are put away

I'm happy to see everyone had a pretty good season.  Strange weather this year around here. From -2 to almost 50 degrees in a few days. Time to get the .22 out to get even with some of those tree rats that harassed me while I was in the stands. But first, I've been ordered by SWMBO to clean the golf cart. I didn't think it was too bad.

 This was my first season using the cart. It worked out great.

Nice 552. That was the first gun I ever won in a raffle. I've taken a lot of squirrels, rabbits, woodchucks, raccoons, etc. with it over the years. It was perfect for rat shooting in the good old days of open dumps. It holds d**n near a half box of .22 shorts.
