Video recorder for an underwater camera.
« on: Sep 28, 2011, 12:04 PM »
I was looking for a portable video recorder for my Cabela's underwater camera. It has RCA outputs. Was wondering If anyone had experience with any 12 volt or battery powered recorders with these inputs. (I use it in the boat and on ice) Recently lowered it into the biggest school of rock bass I've ever seen, would have been a cool video or even still capture shots.

Maybe something like this:

Should be 12v so it'll run off the same battery as your cam.   Could actually permanantly mount it inside your camera case so all you would have to do is pop the memory card in and out.  Nice thing about this one is that it has a video out so you'll still be able to watch on your main screen while recording, the one below you would have to watch on the DVR's little screen.

Or there's this one:

For those of yo who have a GoPro Video camera, do any of the GoPro cameras have a port to connect to an underwater camera like Marcum? :-\
