Trout loving volunteers needed
« on: Mar 15, 2010, 02:47 PM »
Saw this in the paper today, they are looking for volunteers at Carpenter's brook to help with trout stocking. Get out your geritol and your nitro pills and get to it trout lovers.

I would love to but can't commit to a full day. Working mid nights I have to sleep sometime.

They'd get a lot more volunteers if you could sign up for half a day. Like Spikehorn says, lots of us would help but we have other commitments too.

I took a day off of work a few years ago to help float stock the Cohocton River. It was a lot of fun until the dillweed in our raft panicked when we came up on a log jam and jumped from the raft onto a log.  Both my buddy and I went swimming in March.  That ended the fun.
