I thought I was over it
« on: Apr 03, 2004, 10:41 PM »
Well, I thought my usual post ice season depression was over.
The gear is sorted, cleaned and put away.
Trout is open, pike/walleye and bass seasons are coming soon.
Great!

Then I watched The Outdoor Life Network today.

Ice fishing on TV!

Shelters, augers, Aqua-Views, Fl-18's, jigging rods, ect., ect.
Now I miss it all over again.

How long until January?

  • They call it fishing, not catching, for a reason

Caught the tail end of the OLN ice fishing show. The channel is becoming an often watched one for me. Hope I do not find oth the episodes are all re-runs in a week or so. Do not have the ice fishing gear tucked away as well as you have yet . . .

Why wait until January, hope for a bear of a winter like we just had and you will be able to get out in December.  :)

It has been stated that fishyfingers type of ice fishing can help eleviate (temporarly) the symptons of PID. Specifically "a belly full of clear cool Gin can help in PID patients"
