Saturday morning we headed out on Superior before the waves picked up. We boated 2 very nice coho jacks, and missed what I have to assume was a king. It hit a purple/silver/black Michigan stinger on a dipsy diver, took it for a heck of a run, and spit it out. Coho pictures are attached. The coho both hit a bluish/silver rattlin’ rap behind an outboard planer board. I hear the alewives are moving in now though- that should bring the big Kings and Lakers into the shallows. Next weekend should be prime time.
