Well I havent been out much lately unfortunately but I got out a couple of times for stripers with Dr. Juice. The Dr. picked up his first boat a month ago, a tracker pro 17 deep V and we broke it in on the hudson with some stripers.
Here's his first fish he caught in his new boat, 34 incher 14 lbs caught on a herring chunk
Here's my first fish in his boat, 35 incher 15 lbs caught at 8:00 at night after work right when we were going to leave, caught him on a live herring 20 feet from shore, great way to end the night but it kind of sucked filleting fish at 10:00 at night
Here's a nice shad I caught on a sabiki rig but the pic is kind of blurry
Those shad are good fighters also!
Looking forward to the weekend to see if we can get some more, got a charter trip booked for the day after memorial day in conneticut for some striper action, I saw the pics and he consistently catches fish over 40 and 50 inches!!
