i wish it started in may...but alas it does not.  i guess thats just the agreed tourny dates..last year it was june 1sth through the end of september i believe? im not positive though.

yes..but alot of our canadian members have ice or cannot fish untill may. so i think in the long wrong its fair. just sucks for us in the southern teir of the ice belt.

We've had open water over two weeks already in Southern Alberta :)

I agree....lol but what about the ice shanty tourney where we didnt have ice for like a month when canada did....lol...personally i dont care...i dont really catch monsters anyway...

How does this tourney work?  I saw the one on shanty, but it had already closed entries when I saw it.  I assume this is just a bragging rights tourney?

There should be a thread to the past tourneys. It not just a bragging rights tourney there are weekly prizes donated by the sponsers.

Sounds like a good time.  I've got this thread on my update notices, hopfully when the new on starts I can be on speed for things.  What's the entrie fee?

It is a good time, and yes we get alot of nice fish the 2 months before it starts, what that is fishing and having fun and showing off a few fish and great tales.  8)
