there is plenty of walleye in the river check out http://www.maumeetackle.net

another site to help ya out http://www.thenaturalresource.com/walleyerun/
i go down there quite often and do a descent job on the eyes.

i caught a couple on some flies that i tied.  most popular bait is a carolina rigged floating jig head with a 3" plastic grub.

Hey Gang,
I live in NW Indiana, and am thinking about making the trip to Maumee this week.  Couple of questions, and any info would be appreciated.
1.   How are they bitting now? (water conditions ect...)
2.   is it better to fish with waders (noticed that in a lot of pic's) or in a boat?
3.   If a boat, what is the best place to launch?  I noticed several ramps on the map.
4.   What is the daily limit?

Again, any info would help.
