So im home from the UP on vacation for the week. The boat i now own I got from my grandpa, who loves to fish. Because of his health conditions, he cant go fishing by himself anymore, from shore or in a boat. I want to take him fishin this week, but I got no ideas where to take him. His real passion is steelhead on the Grand River, but I dont know if the fish are in there anymore. Does anyone have any ideas about where i could take him. He always liked to do pan fishin too. I head they are gettin some crappies on Reeds Lake, anyone know anything about that? I'm not tryin to steal anyone's spot, just wanna take my gramps out while im home. Lookin for a spot near Grand Rapids, maybe up to half hour away or somethin. Any information is greatly appreciated.
