Local (518) Crappie Plastics
« on: Mar 30, 2023, 09:17 PM »
I am looking to try some new plastic crappie baits, preferably local in 518 area code.
Not looking for Mr. Crappie or Bobby Garland baits. I would much prefer to support a small local business or person.

(Favorite colors to use in spring) wouldn't hurt either.

Thanks
Jeremy

Thanks.

I have used their baits ice fishing, but I will have to place an order and see how they do in the open water.

Any recommendations for spring pannies?

Definitely not local to you, but I have had great success on "whack em and stack em" plastics. Small business local to me. I'm pretty sure he sells them through Facebook.  I'm not on there so not positive.

Once I started using gulp minnows for them I stopped using everything else.  3" work great.

Looks like I skipped over the rules and missed the part NOT to be soliciting on here. My apologies to anyone I may have offended, I’ll be more careful from here on out. Thanks again CNY.

JW I started using the Gulp alive minnows and little Fry a couple seasons back. They are killer thru the ice however I have not used them on soft water. We'll be doing that soon.
As far as color< I have seen a much better bite on pink or orange than any others not to say any color won't work on the right day. Best to have an assortment.

i don't want to get this to off track  but i buy  tub jigs  from bass pro  glow  seems to be my standard  but the  others  fill my  box  with color   ;D  my other option is  power bait  power nymphs  they are expensive  but they really  do work well for me .....perch and big gills love them too
