As I have stated before, spinnerbaits are my favorite baits to bass fish with.
There is nothing more fun or exciting.
BUT- plastics usually out-perform them, so that was my vote.

Tube baits on a oldhams jig, it has a awesome weed guard, it indicates strikes and keeps the bait truly weedless. It has a wire loop that hooks over the barb, you can adjust it, by bending it. It you think you had a strike, check the guard and it will let you know. The bait threads onto a spiral scerw near the jig head. You can run tube, twisters, whatever plastics you want.
Best Bass bait I have found for the tight lippers.
If you gotta cover ground then the crank.
