Bruce am I wrong or is it lower than normal ?, and as usual you were right I managed to sneak 1 last trip in 👍
Almost forgot, water was so low , I retrieved a lure I placed in a tree branch a couple weeks ago , couple weeks ago I would have needed waders , waded out in my lacrosse pack boots , with a couple inches to spare 😃

Launching last week at Oneida shores it really felt about as low as I've seen it. Powering on the trailer was a bad option to those that tried. I cranked by hand.

Now the water is about the lowest I can remember. I can see rock shoals that I have never seen.

The Barge Canal had a lot of water drained this year for improved fishing on Lake Ontario tributaties.

No the barge canal has been drained farther this year and earlier than it was in the past to start projects that didn't get done this year cause of covid.

Looking to keep my boat on Oneida this coming season.  I have called around quite a bit and am on one waiting list.  Most places have not called or emailed me back.....

Any help pointing me to a marina would be helpful.  I have a slip on Cayuga but I like Oneida better and used to trailer there in the past.

I have launched there many times leave the safety chain on if it’s a bunk trailer as it is a little steep , nice people , , good place to start looking for eyes , but there are others if it’s not your cup of tea , apps is another not as fancy also not far from good eye water , just my ..02 , reeleyz knows a lot of people you can ask him what he thinks ,

Thanks!! I will reach out the them....they are closed till after new years. Looks like a nice place from their website.

I have a roller trailer and my boat (21 ft Angler) will definitely roll off without the chain!!

Apps would be my choice.

Does Spruce Grove rent slips too?

There are a lot more options on the south shore.

Check out the OLA website. I am sure the Marina list needs some updates but this list should get you started.
