Fall Tourney????????????

I know we briefly mentioned this when the summer MFF tourney was over but are we going to have a fall MFF tourney?  Hmmmmm!!  Maybe?  What about it Scott?  How about something that runs from September 15th through Thanksgiving or so when the lakes start to freeze?  2 months from 09/15 through 11/15 would be great.  Same categories, same format.  I think it would be fun and garner more particpation than the inaugaral warmup tourney.

Don't think Lonewolf had another planned for this year until the iceshanty tourney this up coming season.
How about we do something similar to what the canuk gang is doing on the ontario board? One week, one species per week, we change it up so we use species from the north and south, that everyone should be able to get in on it eventually.

Let's do it.  My idea would be the first week walleye.  Then we can have walleye for the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and every week until iceup.    Okay, okay, so maybe not walleye every week.

I suggest 2 weeks per fish to give all of us who do not have digital cameras a little more time to develope and upload pics.  Just a thought but I'm game for anything.

my 2 bits....run 2 species of fish for the first half of the month...another 2 for the remainder.....and a good story should accompany the entry   one week may not be enough to get some entries....grump

Excellent, I think I heard those elves are camped out in grumpymoe's shanty making Christmas gifts for all the good boys and girls.

LOL, they had better get a move on!  Won't be long and Grumpy will be giving them the boot in preparation for the upcoming ice season.

Ok slipbob,  two species, duration of two weeks starting on the sept15th-29th, by length. no card no rules no prize on the honor system and just for fun.

Now for the specie pairs, would like to try cover everyone if possible

Since we are going to do 2 fish at a time I reccommend we do one game fish and one panfish ( Bass and Bluegill for example or Walleye and Perch).  That way everyone should have access to at least one targeted species.

rainbow trout (not steelhead) should be in there also along with largemouth bass and bluegill
