« on: May 15, 2013, 10:27 PM »
LMB are finally turning on at the local ponds  8) after a spotty walleye spawn and slow ice off fishing for trout it was a welcome treat. Not the biggest but a great day on the toons. This 14.5" was biggest pulled between 2 of us

and heres a couple more

going to chase around some tiger trout sunday so hopefully we'll have some good pics. Tightlines

Finally got the boat out today and had to shake the dust off it as it has been sitting since the 1st of april. Hooked up with this small tiger musky and it is so sweet to see these hybrids at this size as it gives us high hopes for the future size classes up and coming

we also pulled a few smallies, but nothing over 14-15in. Oh well next time  ;D all in all a great 1st soft water trip to this reservoir

Thanks, there is some pretty good scenery around here. Its just a shame more dont get out to enjoy it, but then again the water might be more crowded  ;)

Yeah, I like that situation!  "Ain't no good fish in that lake." would be the right response when asked about fishing it :)

Another great day on the water yesterday and for the second week in a row I pulled another hopeful for the future of this fishery

My best smallie for the day

one of Phishinphool's bass

and the best for last my last catch for the day, what a way to end it. Measured in at a respectable 36in and fought like a freight train flying outta the water a couple feet at first then peeled drag a few times. SWEET

Heres the full story on the Utah lakes board

Way to go muskyon46.
You guys are a having a good season.
Nice multi species action. :)

We don't have any musky of any sort here in SK., but I do enjoy seeing and learning about them.
Those tiger musky have a neat coloration. Well done with that 36"er. 8)
