Fish report for Pine & Stone Laporte

ive caught 10 11 inch bluegills out of there that place is a fish factory, its good that it is very clear its not like ur gonna be fishing right along side the boat

I fished Pine lake last Sat morning and the fish were on. The gills are fat and big. I was using leaf worms and as soon as i would cast out they would take it. Caught 10 nice sized gills. They seem to be about 8 to 10 feet down. Pine lake has some  BIG gills in there. I have been fishing Pine lake for a number of years, always had good luck.

If you plan on going to Pine Lake this weekend, you better start early, because the speed boats and jet ski's will be all over on the lake. It is kind of hard fishing when you have boats and jet ski's making waves and coming close to where you fish. On nice weekends the lake is very busy.

have you tried stone lately, wonder if they r making beds near shore

we fished a little on stone last week, did not have any luck so we went to Pine, better luck there till the speed boats come out. You might have better luck on stone, that is a no wake lake, there won't be any speed boats there. Good luck with your fishing. Sure hope this report helps.

Fished these lakes yesterday, caught perch and bluegill. Nothing huge but they were biting

I was fishing at Pine Lake yesterday with a buddy of mine and we were tearing up on casting. We caught about 4 bass that were over 15 inches and alot of little bass. My buddy caught a big Northern Pike, It was about 28 to 30 inches. We let all the fish back in the water, going to catch them another day. The bite was on, they were hitting on anthing we threw at them. We had a great day casting for the bass.

glad to hear the fish are biting, congrats to you guys on getting out. I've heard there are nice pike in there. What did you catch the pike on?

way to go bassman, glad you had a good day fishin, my dad and i made it over to willowslough and caught 40 gills so im a happy camper
