We definitely are. I was talking about bullhead fishing with my dad a couple days ago. We are thinking about going in the next week or so. Might be early but with this warm weather I think they’ll move up soon

Too early here. Haven’t heard any peepers yet and no night crawlers.

No matter…still have some in the freezer.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

The hatchery workers have not put the nets in yet. I believe they will as soon as the season is closed. Quite a few people fishing scriba creek the last few days.
Nice job findin em

We got about 70 the last 2 days 10 am - 2 pm on spikes, worms and perch eyes trying to get perch ! Cranberry pond in Greece. They are loaded with yellow parasites. I won't eat them. What a pain in the ..... but fun !

Got the itch ?     I've broken out in hives !     I can hardly wait but I know it's just a bit early yet.  Last year I got into them 4 days after ice out, which was about April 6.  This year that happened a week ago but I know the water is much cooler than last year. Hannaford's just had a sale on shrimp so I got bait. I'd like to see about 4 days worth of sunshine & I believe they will be game on. A slow warm rain won't hurt.

I haven't bullhead fished in years . Used to go to Beaver Island , but the marina is being rebuilt . Can anyone recommend a spot or 2 for a Niagara Co. guy ? Thanx Keith

Come to Indiana. No one targets them here and we have plenty. I always look forward to reading this this thread every spring.
