Eastern NY pan fish (toga/ Cossayuna)
« on: May 16, 2019, 10:55 AM »
I have hit Cossayuna Lake 3 times so far. May  7th was the last time. The water was still in the mid 50s. Left that day with 24 nice gill/seeds but had to work very hard. No crappies or perch. The 2 times prior in late April there were 2 adults and 2 9 year olds and we ended up with a 56 fish mixed bag in 2 days. Not stellar for this time of year. Has anyone been to Saratoga? I would imagine the Crappies bite is or was behind? looking to hit it Sunday and curious if anyone knows the temps and an idea of launch traffic so far?  I know the lake pretty well but limited on time and weighing my options.. Thanks in advance
