Knickerbocker Lake (Columbia County)
« on: Jul 05, 2011, 10:12 PM »
Hey guys, my fiance and I have some friends who live here, and they invited us out to their house to do some fishing/ BBQing. They fish a little, but don't know much. They have a jon boat with a trolling motor. Could anyone give me some info on what I can expect to find here? I know there are LMB, bullheads, crappies, pickerel, and eels. What else could we expect to catch, and does anyone have any tips? I really just want to get them on some fish, and teach them some things so they can catch more on their own. I know it's a small lake, and a lot of people won't want to give up info, and that's okay. If you want, send me a PM. It's over an hour from here, so I might fish it once or twice a year. Really just looking to help educate some friends. Thanks!

-Zach

I guess not. Well, I guess I had better bring the full bag of tricks. Hopefully I can find some fish.
