Title: Belgrade Vacation

Had a awesome week of fishing at a camp I do carpentry on in the off season. In the past years I only caught 2 Browns in 4 stays on this Pond. This week I figured things out and had my best morning today . I landed 6 Brown’s and had 3 more come off when they got close to the boat. I landed 13 Brown’s for the week and only kept 2 to grill for friends. I also had a big pike on but couldn’t get it in the net by myself. I also got some big smallmouth bass that were fun to catch that would launch out of the water . Also had fun fishing with my wife and daughter on anchor as the sun was setting a couple evenings. The girls caught some nice white perch that kept me busy putting worms on and ripping hooks out. I got some nice fillets from some of the jumbos and made for a delicious fish fry. Life is good !🎣🚤🏊‍♂️😎

Yes, You were in Mt . Vernon I believe ? Lots of nice lakes in that area.

Thanks for taking us along on your vacay nice browns, smallies and  white perch. The big one in #11, from the angle and coloration, looks like a walleye and it could be.

I think it was the camera angle that made it look like a walleye. I remember hearing about walleye being stocked in there years ago.
I grew up fishing Lake Champlain in VT. My Uncle use to troll for them in Milton and Georgia shore.
