I snuck out this evening with my son. We trolled at first and caught a short. Then moved to a different spot and found some biters. I jigged up 3 keepers, a short, and a perch.

Nice to see you Cheeks!
Good to see you too bud! Boat looks sharp on the water! We ended up with 4 keepers one short. Trolled 30-22 FOW. Most were in the 26-24 foot range. Nice evening.  8)

Got out with a bud for awhile late yesterday afternoon only 1 keeper eye , several smallies and some Rockies ,sheep and a few perch , very buggy
Were you securing your boat around 4:00? I had my buddy dump me in and while he parked my truck I thought I could see the back of your motor up top. 8)

I was a hitch hiker again , with deady and snag we managed to limit on eyes with a few bass tossed in plus a sheep
Snag took some pics along with a couple nice pics of the sun set
The cranberry brownie jig seemed to do the job for me

I sounds like you found them Fred.

Do you notice any preference for a certain jig color? I mostly toss something brown or black sometimes white. I never see a pattern. It always comes down to the presentation.

How did your weekend at Henderson go, did you get in to any walleye or perch?

One Walleye and 4 Lake Trout...it was so hot we spent more time swimming than fishing..water was in the low 60's and felt good!

Yea it was hot!!!! Good job on the fish, it's tough sitting in a boat when it's that hot. And I imagine there were some bugs also!! Hope you have better luck on Oneida than we had Wednesday out there. Things were pretty slow, got to start picking up soon.......I hope  ;)

Well today went to my grandson and daughters T-Ball game , then it was off to the taste of Syracuse, the tasting went well and the scenery was very easy on these old eyes  ::)
