I don't mind the tough fishing myself but somebody better tell the waldos it's Father's Day on Sunday. This is only the second day I'll get Dad out this year and I gotta put him on a few fish.

Whoever has that Easy Button. Break it out.

I have an easy button on my desk here at work. You can borrow it if you want!

Good luck, I hope you find some biters.

Yo Perch Hound,

No, the time is not wasted. Still got that beauty you gifted me bud.  I'm still afraid a big old walleye is going to sink his teeth in it. Not too much to worry about this last week out. I took Jperch out with me last week and all we caught was shorts and perch on our worm harnesses. Yesterday chrony and I got out all day long and again only caught shorts.  I did manage one 20 inch keeper last Friday and again a few shorts. I was getting a complex, but seems I am not the only one eh?  :'( :'( :'(

Hey Boggs, how are ya?
Beat that stick up, put some marks in it, give it some character!  ;D
Fishing for me has been sloooow, getting time to replace the roof on the house, ugh...
so the boat time is going to be quite limited.  :'(
Tight lines bud.

Chowdaire......best of luck Sunday fishing with your Dad!!!  Hope you are able to find some fish for him, if not, I'm sure he'll still have a great Father's Day just being able to spend time with you out on the water  ;)

I don't ever wish anyone to have a bad day fishing..........but, I sure as heck feel better about my lack of catching after reading that lots of other people are struggling this season too 8)

Yo Chowdair.
Good for you bud. I wish you good luck . My Fathers day present is, I am getting my daughter and my great granddaughter out  in the boat for the first time. I'm torn between taking them out for waldo's or going for the sure thing , drifting harnesses through Big Bay and catchin gills and pickerel. Thinking I will opt for Big Bay and watching my Great Grand daughter squeal with delight.  I bought her her first Pink Snow White fishing pole.  At 4 years old, not sure if she can handle the 5 foot Ugly stick yet, but we will see. She is precocious. Reports to follow on Monday.

Had a decent evening on the east end. Jigged sonars in 22 to 16 FOW, had the gf out with me, and she kicked my butt. She got 2 nice eaters and 3 just shorts. I went 1 for 2, but it was a nice 20"er. Beautiful night for a few quick drifts, fished 7:30 to 9:30pm

Thanks for the well wishes, guys. I'm going to pick up a couple of cigars after work so worst case Dad will enjoy being outside having a smoke and a cold beer.

I should really scout the lake on Saturday to find fish but I'm going to run to the big lake instead. I haven't had many chances to get out this year and am dying to give those big silver fish a try.

Good luck everybody

Good luck chowdaire
Well Bruce at least you got caught some fish my first outting trolling with the wife was slow managed 3 borderline fish so we tossed them
Went back out in the afternoon with snag for some sonaring we jigged  deep water and got lucky and found a pod of biters ,we  kept a limit and snag got a big sheep and we caught 2 smaller ones , wind shifted and couldn't stay on them oh well,  I'm happy to land a few , and today my elbow is paying for it lol but it's a good hurt

Nice job rlowery & filet. Everything I'm hearing is the evening bite is much better than the mornings. Maybe that's the key.
