Sounds like even the trout fishing is tough Fred.

I fished yesterday for a few hours with a friend of mine. 1 keeper eye and 1 perch was all we could muster. We tried a few spots as well as a new technique.

Congrats on a beautiful trout. That pic is awesome 👍🏼👍🏼  Well done bud!  I too went and hit the streams today with little  Deadeyez, my brother, and my nephew. Beautiful day to do some poking around for trout.  We ended up landing one brown around 8 inches and a bunch of small bluegills and fall fish. Little Deadeyez spotted a beauty that wouldn't cooperate. It looked to be at least 16 inches. All in all we had a blast!
Nice job findin em

Brother, his wife, daughter and her family are in Alaska this and next week.  Photo represents about 50 lbs. of Sockeye filets.

Hit the big lake today.  Ended up 4 for 6 with 3 kings and a nice brown.  2 of the kings were decent one was small.  The brown was maybe 8 lbs. Fun break from Oneida.

Thanks guys,

The kings were maybe 12-15 lbs.  Big ones don't seem to have arrived yet.

Good job Bill  :thumbup_smilie: Release and Rueben tried to find some fishable trout water today. ::) Those two clowns drove all over the place! :w00t: Most of the streams have really really low water levels. If we don't get some rain soon it could mean trouble for the trout. The trout we did see were pretty sluggish. We did find some new water to fish in our travels.  8) Release threw everything at them but the

and rocks!! ;D

Great job on the kings...I hit the big lake again. Took the kids out this morning and they had a blast! We boated 11 Lakers and one King. Lost 4 fish and one of them was the Lockness monster...it was either a monster laker or a sturgeon...I couldn't move it...cleared all the lines it just thumped and slowly peeled line...after about 15 minutes it just came off...pretty cool stuff, I hate not knowing what it was...
