Fishing today was tough. I manage to squeeze out a limit of walleyes two by trolling and one casting in the weeds. Took about 8hours with two smallies mix in.

Having a hard time finding the eyes, none yesterday, several times i saw HUGE balls of bait 4 or 5 feet down could see smallmouths rip threw them a couple times looked to be shad. Last week just before the cold front there was a ton of shad along shore just after dark.

I haven't been out lately but my buds that are, they have been  catching some  anywhere from 15'-35' some trolling and a few jigging  , a lot has to do with that ol luck factor finding the biters , and some days are harder than others but this year is certainly better than the last

Nice job on the eyes. Took me a while to get this up because we were down south at Mickey Mouse's house.

Haven't been out in a couple of weeks, been filling the wood shed and brush hogging (and of course regular work). Thought we might troll for a change. How's the floating weed situation?

We fished a Bass tournament yesterday and scored 5 keeper Walleyes! I would say the bite is going strong. So if your struggling on the eyes, just sign up for a Bass tournement.

Fished today from 7 to 2. The fish were finicky again. Caught one 18, one 17 and 8 shortyies. Still it was a great day to be on the water.
