We need a heavy blow out of the east so you west side guys can enjoy the ice.

Think we can get on it?  ;D
If walleye season was open I would be tempted!
I’d tempt it , with spud in hand ,
Come on xc600 the late ice is always bestowed upon the eastenders 😉

It looks like mostly West winds all week too. That ice might be around for a bit longer.

The Hatchery doesn’t like to put out the nets with any ice left on the lake. I bet they make an exception this year though.

There is always other places to fish until it’s gone
More rain in the forecast this coming week maybe that will help soften it up

Cornell says that the walleye and perch numbers are slowly rising. So the future is looking bright.

The also said that there was a goby die off in the 2016-2017 winter that they can't explain yet. However the gobies reproduced rapidly last fall so their numbers are pretty much back where they were before the die off.

Great news on the Hatchery...you can count on spring coming now when those guys put out the nets!!

I'm pretty sure everyone reads MFF now after IceShanty slowing down...so, I'd like to drop a hint here...

Wildwood Sports Center's Sportsman's Spring Flea Market is this Saturday the 14th in Elbridge.

Please check the flyer for more info. It's a pretty good sale and I'd like to see some of you guys there if possible.

I always donate a wingbone turkey call for a door prize each year and there are other kool prizes too.
