I think I’d turn as green as that salmon if I tried to eat it! I have eaten them from the lake in June and they’re pretty tasty but I still prefer eyes and perch for eating.

 I’ve had pacific salmon from here every way imaginable , smoked is it for me , , but we all have different taste

I smoke them or can them and make fish patties. About 2 salmon a year is plenty for me.

I think a lot of salmon/trout is getting tossed in the trash after sitting in people's freezers for a year.

i cube them and feed to my labs,they like them!
good protein for them also!!

All this talk forced me into cooking up a platter of smelt , they are so awful I wouldn’t wish these nasty things on anyone

FYI....Just got home from a visit to Godfrey Point to check on the launch. Still open, talked to the guys working at the sign shop there, according to them there are no plans for work being done on the launch any time soon. Apparently no permits have been issued yet, no corps of engineers decisions on exactly what needs to be done, everything is still up in the air. Also no plans are in the works to add a pay station either
