Some guys are doing good in the weeds too. I tried a weed spot yesterday morning and it was slow for me. The weeds are a bit behind this year.

We caught fish in deep water this weekend and midday moved in shallow in the weeds and caught bigger fish there there are fish all over out there bite is good right noe

Nice job Pounder. Me and the guys tried it tonight. We all limited. They got me on numbers but I got lunker fish for the night. It got chilly out there!

Caught a smorgasbord of fish , pickerel, weed trout ,  sunnies ,perch and some eyes

Nice Eyez right there Bob I was heading home as she was laying down lucky my wife was with me or I for sure would of blown in sick today tried to talk her into staying but she told me I have responsibilities at home....it was a long ride back to rochester be back up Tuesday night

Great job guys!

You must have slipped by me on your way down there. I snuck out with the kids for a couple of hours in the evening and we beat up on the eyes again. At one point we landed a triple, good thing we were trolling down wind! We kept enough for a couple of meals and tossed the larger fish back.

   That must have been the first time we manage to slip by you , Bobby and I have been practicing our ninja routine 😜

Really nice fish guys, that's a real beauty Deadeyez...I imagine that one's still swimmin'...looks and sounds like a good year out there. Keep it up.

Great morning.. My son #2 completely refurbished my dads 1969 14 ft Starcraft and Put a new 25 evenrude on it  .
So this morning we took the “old boat” and fished the old way.Dixie spinners I had made, rigged with a night crawler and drifted.  That is still a great way to catch Eyes. A really fun morning and sorted out 4 eyes between 18 and 20 inches for fish tacos.. Lots of memories revived..

That’s awesome old timer! Me, Fred, and Shane got out for the evening. Picked away at some nice eater eyes and caught an assortment of other fish as well.

Dead eyes....congrats on the big ‘seeds.  As you can tell from my username love catching sunfish.  I’m sure in or around weeds.  Any particular depth?  Thanks.
