I am not sure why they are keeping the water low. Doesn’t make much sense to me. It is right at the minimum for me to get the boat off the hoist.  :-\

Either they are idiots, or they are idiots. Not A good year for panfish to get in the swamps to spawn at all.

Agreed.

I had to really work to get the boat off and on the hoist last night.

Great bite again last night and a tad choppy.  :o

I had my ice fishing bibs on last night and my fish are sitting in the cooler on snow. Ridiculous!

Same to you. You need to camouflage that truck!  ;D

I am asking about the water levels today. If it is calm my boat is stuck there.

I only saw one gate wide open yesterday at the C'noy dam.  Still if the lake is low, why have a gate wide open.  They have been dumping water out of the lake since it rained just beofore opening day.  3 gates wide open then and now one wide open.  >:(  Must be trying to keep Lake Onterio full.

I live about 3/4 mile from the C'noy dam and watch the water level often.

On another topic, has anyone heard there were two guys fishing at the C'noy dam prior to the opened that were caught with 47 walleye by the DEC. The walleye were there pretty good prior to the season and now you can hardly catch one.
