I always save the walleye for my mom - she'll eat crappie and perch but when she hears I caught some walleye it doesn't even make it to the freezer - hahaha

thats awesome my mom loved bullheads and i swear to God she could cook lakers hog dressed and never a bit of blood or a under cooked fish ...my pops liked  everything  and he loved wild turkey

I hit the lake Sunday out of Godfrey. Could not find a consistent bite.  My depth finder indicated the water temperature was between 48-50° F. Some places 48° and others 50°.

Best day walleye fishing on Oneida was in the 90s 5 rollers pounding the eyes 4 of us on the boat caught 20 keepers and threw back 100 shorts. Also kept a handful of Bass Huge sunfish and some perch
