Went out of Godfrey again yesterday from 6:30 to 1:30. Pretty slow picking for larger eyes. Only 1 keeper but 13 shorts and 2 perch.  We did not mark very many fish and only one school of bait.  Very few boats trolling but groups of boats were working the shoals.  Still nice to get out and enjoy the water.

Stay after them Walnut. We have run into our fair share of short eyes. Quite a few of them just under the 15” mark out there this summer. They will keep come ice fishing season.
