We finally got a camera, 4.0 Coolpix, and got out for the first outing on our New York vacation  ;D

The location - a small stream in the Southern Tier  8)

This bucket here, w/ Carlie Jo on the release, pretty much puts anything slipbob has been doing to shame  ;D

And this dog smallie for Pikeguy - and yes PG - that is a 1/16th Roostertail 8)

Well, we are off to hunt more of New York's abundant big Bass, Carlie and I will keep the updates coming, and hopefully this camera will take some better shots  :-\

I am wondering though, as all the fish I catch are Micro, maybe I need to put the camera setting for the shot on Macro  ;D

Hope everone had a nice Fouth,

Only made it out twice in New York, here are a few pic's of outing #2.  The location - a small pond in the Southern Tier 8)

Right off the bat from shore with the trusty 1/16th oz Roostertail Lindz gets a hookup  :)

Man Lindz photograph's like he is still riding the short bus  :P  Thank goodness for the Carlie Jo  ;D

A few shots of the pond.

Carlie and I then headed out in the boat with Lindz making the big blunder.  Instead of tying the Shaw Grigsby on my medium system, I tied it on the Ultra Light, and then the age old story - I hooked a nice fish and promptly broke him off  :P

Like Lindz, Carlie loves to spit seeds  ;D

I did nail many fish like this one above and lost two runs that were nicer, then the good fish.........why did I row out with 4# test  ???  :cursing:  ;D

That's funny PG because my man Dave, lost a big fish from shore on his Flyrod popper, so I see him tying up a Spinner bait on his Fireline/Ultra light.  I'm sitting by the side of the pool with Carlie and he starts casting into the pool to show us the deadly action of the blade bait - and off flys a 2' nightmare birdnest.  I couldn't help but comment on the action that lure had sitting on the bottom of the pool - as he sat there with his hands full of a Fire-Spaghetti-nest  ;D

Excellent pics Lindz and CJ is sure growing fast.  I haven't been to Dan's pond in a long time.  Thanks for bringing back some memories of some crazy nights at that house.

Thought you might enjoy those shots Slip, your Bro was wondering if there were any fish with size left in the pond - I showed him one  8) then he busted off his popper on another   It was fun.

I was going to say, man that is a nice clean lined pond that you got that nice bass out of, even comes with a slide.  ;)  Looks like you guys and gals had a good trip back up to NY.  ;D Keep those pictures of Carlie coming, and next time pack a rod and reel with a little heavier line.  ;) Thanks for sharing pictures of the visit.  8)
Fishing isn't a matter of life or death, it's much more important than that!

I live with FEAR everyday, and sometimes she lets me go fishing!

Hit the local small pond with Carlie for about 30 minutes last night  :)

Location - a small pond in Raleigh, NC  8)

Carlie didn't appear interested, but as we got close to the water she came to asking me to catch a Blue Gill first  ;D  She even took some pics with hey cool little pink camera that talks when a picture is snapped :o

The Pond.

First small Bass  :P

And......another small Bass......Lindz knows small Bass  ;D

And that's it 4 small bass and 1 Bluegill which flopped off at the bank

I will be throwing the Horny Toad Sun. morning, so maybe then Lindz will finally do battle with the big dog  :flex:

Lindz I think you need to start targeting big fish again ;D  I talked to my bro last night and he said he was busting your chops for throwing the mini rooster tail until you caught that big bass, that taught him a lesson :D

Never underestimate the power of the micro Roostertail   Seriously though I am going to work the Horny Toad on my local Bass pond and my confidence is high   I just may be able to show you a +8 before the end of the year

Hit the golf course pond Wed. night and Carlie Jo was into it, however she did not want her picture taken.

The rare occasion dad is quick enough with the camera - Jo Jo on the run ;D

Carlie warms up to the camera - as she has to touch the fish :D

Two bass on the night, this one was a little bigger :P

Overall it was a nice evening to be outdoors, and rest assured I have not lost my touch with the Micro Bass ;D

Well, I hope you all are up for more Lindz size fish

Lindz leaving the boat house behind - Sunday morning. 8)

A shot of the lake from the boat house.

A Bass from the South - and Pikeguy think's they grow them big in New York. ;D

Tuesday night at the golf course pond - Carlie Jo showing some interest. :-\

A bass - nope, the elusive Callie - again in Lindz's size class. :P

And Carlie back on her game - helping with the release.  ;D

One of these day's I will move to the biggie size - maybe  ;D
