Here's that pike I caught today. He cut me off just as he got to shore, but I was able to grab him before he could get back in the water.



For whatever reason, the lighting is a bit weird, but you can see the pike fine.

Its been a long time since I've posted on this, but now that open water season is here, I plan to post pictures more often. Here is a nice fat bullhead I caught the other night.

Will have picture of a large smallmouth up sometime within the next few days. It managed to break 8lb line and made my rod hit me in the face, but my dad still landed it somehow.

Did really well today on the Pickerel. Picked up a good 5 fish limit for a local pickerel derby,


Heres a picture of a small perch that I caught on a rat-l-trap  (that was the lure of the day, and probably caught 70% of the fish)

Other lures that did well were other rat-l-trap patterns, crayfish imitations, a smithwick jerkbait, and a pike imitator softbait.
