Erie 11/11

Total 6 guys and fished 8 hours landed 52 steelhead

I landed 8( spent the first 3 hours fishing, landed all them in that time. Then helped all the other guys land fish and telling them what to do)

17 or 18" walleye they are NOT! Tried my best to make one taste good years ago, ........not so much. In my opinion, they are DEFINITELY not an "eater" fish. Just my opinion though.  :unsure: :sick:

i think they are not that bad. if you get them smoked they taste great and it is like 10 bucks so that is not a bad deal

Nice steelies and nice pics!  Thanks for sharing!

There are fish consumption advisories in all of the great lakes.  Lot's of toxic stuff in the fat, so make sure you don't eat the belly meat.  The PA and NY fishing regulations have listings on the advisories, so take heed and don't eat too much.  Not very good for ya!

Years ago we used to keep an occasional small one. I didn't think they were bad at all once breaded and fried. Looks like a great day mr.walleye9481! 8)
