Looks like the lake level crested. It only came up a foot max. That is surprising to me with how much rain came down.

I saw that Dom. Definitely unfortunate.

How’s everyone been doing out there? I haven’t been out in a few weeks. Reports are scarce on here lately.

Fished yesterday morning out of Godfrey.  Expected to see more guys out there, but pressure was relatively light.  Kept 8 out of 20 landed trolling deep.  Lots of marks and it was a pretty steady bite.  Algae and floaters were pretty bad.

Anyone bother to put the waders on yet?
I’m a bit under the weather so won’t be going out for a while.

Fished Wednesday and Friday last week. Easy two man limits both outings trolling. Great time to get a kid or beginner out on the water. Ran through some schools of walleyes that would boggle the mind. Mostly nice eaters 16”-19”. Marked fish all over. We could just about time our hits base on the marks we were seeing. Doubled up several times. Never changed lures.
