I hope everyone gets to eat too much, see the family they actually miss and get a chance to fish as soon as possible (soft or hard water)!
I always think it is funny/sad that if the Pilgrims had been bright enough to have brought fish hooks with them, they all would have been fat come spring (they even had a small boat to fish out of), instead of wading out into the winter ocean to poke around with bare feet for clams (the definition of cold)... They did get some fish as they were so many fish in the waters off Plymouth that they would pick some baitfish up in the surf as the cod would chase them ashore...
