I hope Boats and RV Warehouse is giving him a new motor like he paid for instead of one with a used lower unit.  It makes you wonder how many times they have got away with that in the past.

Does anyone know if Boats and RVWarehouse finally gave this guy the new motor he paid for, or they still sticking him with the new top and used lower unit?  Had Smokercraft done anything?  What is up?  Where is Bussman on this issue?

We moved into our own home finally and we don't have internet access there yet.  :( Unfoutinately all I can say anyway is its in the lawyers hands and I have been asked not to post anymore on this subject.   :-\  Thank you all for your support and I am very very sorry I can not go into detail on what is going on.  It makes me sick just thinking that I am not going to be able to close this issue here but I guess this is how things work in this world we live in these days :-[

Well, enjoy the new place, and we look forward to hearing about an amicable solution on the boat/motor sometime in the near future then.  Good luck!

I was in Crossgates mall the other day and saw Boat N RV had moved into the old Kliens sporting goods.  Is this the same business?

To set the record straight Mr Bussman: (1st and last response by Boat-N-RV Warehouse)

Mr. Bussiere, AKA Bussman, purchased a 2006 192 Smokercraft with a 115hp Mercury from Boat N RV Warehouse on 4/22/06.  Everything agreed on during the sale was put clearly in writing.  When Mr. Bussiere came to pick up his boat he had an on water demo with a Boat N RV Technician.  After his demo Mr. Bussiere claimed that he believed he was going to receive additional canvas for his boat.  After a review if Mr. Bussiere’s paperwork it was found that he was not entitled to any additional canvas, however Boat N RV offered the canvas at less then our cost.

Upon completion of the canvas Mr. Bussiere took delivery of his boat.  Shortly after taking his boat Mr. Bussiere contacted Boat N RV Warehouse and stated that there was a spot on his canvas and that the paint on his lower unit was peeling.  Mr. Bussiere was asked to bring in his boat as soon as possible.  Mr. Bussiere refused to bring the boat to us.  The General Manager of the store contacted Mr. Bussiere personally and offered to have someone pick up his boat, make any necessary repairs and return the boat to him.  Mr. Bussiere declined and also stated that he is going to ruin Boat N RV Warehouse with postings on myfishfinder.com.

After confirming that the lower unit on Mr. Bussiere’s boat was in fact new the General Manager again contacted Mr. Bussiere and offered to replace the lower unit on the motor at no cost.  Mr. Bussiere then stated that he would not let Boat N RV see his boat unless he was given a new motor.  Boat N RV agreed to give him a new motor and new canvas.  We were very interested in seeing the condition of the boat and motor.  Mr. Bussiere continued to slander Boat N RV on myfishfinder.com.  At this time Boat N RV Warehouse decided that we did not wish to have Mr. Bussiere as a customer.  We offered to refund the full purchase price of the boat.  At this time Mr. Bussiere disclosed that there was physical damage to the boat.

The arrangements were made to repurchase the boat with the understanding that the boat will be returned as delivered, to include the original lower unit that was changed locally by Mr. Bussiere.  The original lower unit was not returned and therefore Boat N RV Warehouse never had the opportunity to inspect or repair the boat, canvas, or motor.  The attached photos of Mr. Bussiere’s boat clearly show extensive physical damage to the hull of the boat.  These photos explained why the customer took delivery and never allowed Boat N RV Warehouse to inspect the boat again under any circumstances.

There is a reason that we are the areas #1 Smokercraft Dealer.  Our Customers satisfaction is our #1 priority.

and here is the reason this is your first and last post from that report i suspect

you cant spin those numbers to make ya look good

This company has an unsatisfactory report with the Bureau because the file contains unanswered complaints. Our file contains a pattern of complaints from consumers who report problems with product quality, delays in delivery and service, and sales disputes.

The company has responded to most complaints by offering an explanation of their position or an adjustment.

When evaluating complaint information, please consider the company's size and volume of business. The number of complaints filed against the company may not be as important as the type of complaints and how the company handled them.
