i was talkin to a guy at the sporting goods store today and he said hes goin down the same farm to hunt them free of charge next week he came in and orderd a 30/6 with 25 rounds of armor percing bullets :blink: and a 504 rageing bull revolver :blink: and a seat...he said they arnt good eating b/c off all the nasty wild onions they eat and all the dead animals and that they see them over 900 pounds regurly..ill be sure to post the pics he will send me...i told him i wish him luck :flex:personly i think  hes a little  :cookoo: :whistling:

I heard about that hog in the newpaper the other day, man what a monstrous pig. :o

It's kind of too bad that they did not decide to do a full body mount of it.
Thats going to take some time to beat.

I saw this a while ago and it is apparently not confirmed as fact.  There are stories suggesting it was a domestic pig, there are other stories with details changed, etc. 

The 8 shots with a 50 caliber pistol sounds a little fishy to me.  What adult would want to shoot that pistol 8 times - much less an 11 year old kid.

I raised some wild russian boar for a game preserve here and from what i see that pig may have been wild but i would say he was someone domesticated pig at one time.  It would take a lot of high protein grain to raise a pig that big.
