Got my mount back!!!!

I got my mount back on Saturday!!! 14.5" Perch!!!  :o
The guy did it for free because he is just starting out. But I had to supply the wood!  :P

Let me know what you guys think!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry man but the guy should pay you for taking the fish back. That thing looks like he just let it half rot then glued it to the wood.  :o :o

I found one like that stuck on the bottom of my jetsled,the other day.The wood is the best looking part.Sorry!!! :o

he shouldn't quit his day job.. :(  where is the color?  it really couldn't have been that color when you gave it to him...  unless your camera is messed up, it is not a very good mount.. Maybe his dog chewed on it a bit...  :'(  Sorry glad you didn't pay anything for it..  Hopefully you can go catch another 14 incher perch

wow that came out spectacular! I can't imagine the detail and skill it must have taken to put a fish on a piece of wood and let it die and rot. excellent mount! very realistic. i love how the colors pop but are yet suttle enough to make it look real.

It looks like the guy freeze-dried it instead of skinning and mounting it. He should have patched the splits in the tail. Is that a black & white photo? Perch are supposed to have some yellow. I've seen worse. If you're satisfied that's what counts.
