Can anyone tell me what dates the walleye opener tourney on Oneida runs. Is it just Saturday? Think I'll wait until the crowd leaves.

Need some Oneida launch info. We are fishing this weekend and looking for a launch on east side of lake. Is Marion Manor still open? Ideal place would be around Sylvan beach. Looks like it is going to be a wet one this weekend.

There is Snug Harbor in the canal at Sylvan, their website lists launch, I have never used it. Look at it on Google Maps.

That's a nice easy launch , 1 boat at a time , they all will be busy

snug harbor is a nice launch, Im pretty sure you just put money in envelope before and after season/hours.  also make sure you have your coast guard approved equipment with you, opening weekend the sheriffs or DEC sit in the canal to check

Along with the coast guard equipment you may also want your boat bumpers and a good bilge pump. 10 to 15 mph SW wind will put most boats in the canal/fish creek and .25 inch of rain will put plenty of water in the boat... good luck, I'll give it until mid week..

I am guessing that the canal is like chocolate after that rain?
