Watched the sun really destroy the ice today, it has that real rotten grey look now. Might go quicker than I thought, we can only hope now.

The ice pushed to the west. Lookout tomorrow with strong winds from the west.

Fishy, Fishy in the lake, please come here and take my bait. I troll and jig you take my hook, and then I take you home to cook.

The water has come up a lot in the past week. We are at high summer level again. Hopefully that slows down with the cooler weather this weekend.

According to gauge in Cleveland it is up a doot in a week. Think I read wher they can drop it 2 inches a week with everything wide open..

And the wind just kicked up.

You can see the ice moving back in fast!

Anyone know if the hatchery is up and going yet.   And if the walleyes are in the creek good.     Looking to take my daughter out early next week to see it

I would plan on late next week.

Depends on how quick this ice goes...

They can’t put the nets out until the ice goes away. The eyes don’t normally stack up in Scriba creek until the ice is off.

There is definitely some eyes in the creek. The water is moving fast so it is tough to see them. They should start stacking up this week though.

A couple pics.

That east end ice isn’t going anywhere soon as bad as that jammed in

Think we can get on it?  ;D

If walleye season was open I would be tempted!
