Solid report on that ramp. You took a lot of guesswork out, before a trip, for most of us who would want to use it. Good work!!😎

100% agree 62. It’s like they felt a need to make more turns than needed. They could have just done 1 big parking lot with a bottle neck down to the road just like Godfrey.

Godfreys is very good. There is even another practical solution which would have worked perfectly at that location. For those who have visited the state launch on Saratoga Lake you know what I mean. There is no backing up or maneuvering around tight corners.
   Drive in into a circle.
   Back into the launch
Drive out to the left or right and park
Drive out of your parking spot into the main stream of traffic and proceed as you did upon entry to retrieve your boat
Pull straight out to tie down area  _ go home
There is also an over flow area to the side to park  and this design would have still left all the room for a hand launch as well as a picnic or relaxing area that you have there

There would be no need for all the backing up and maneuvering around tight areas that is there   Please Know  that I am still appreciative to have a facility to use at no cost to the user but I think practicality was not an important issue when this was developed

Good luck every body    catch some big ones   For me today it was mowing and gardening today

We all know that they had a reason for doing what they did. I don't claim to be a Harvard grad so maybe I just don't understand. Perhaps they just wanted to experiment.  Ya

Engineers build ,  architects design , so things aren’t always simple , don’t ask how I know 😉 they are also the ones that put islands in parking lots

A few from Friday night. Some decent slicks of mayfly larvae on the surface.

Thanks guys. The fish are definitely starting to get some shoulders on them.

They seem healthier than a couple of years ago.
