white perch

 Finally hit the white perch run on my lake. Due to high water and crappy weather I havnt gotten any at all but today i went down adn caught about 50....i kept 12 to eat. They weren't the biggest ive caught but they are still good eating size 8)




Fishing isn't a hobby it's an addiction

Nice fish. What do they taste like? I always throw them back.

I've heard reports that they taste like sweaty socks.  Others have said that they taste like shrimp if cooked right.

 Yea outta warm water thats a good description,...sweaty socks...but out of cold water fried in garlic butter they taste very good i like them as much as yellows, and they get bigger so more meat ;D
